To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing on behalf of Alejandro Sucre. Mr. Sucre and I were
acquainted when, as a senior manager of the fledgling Caracas
Teleport, Mr. Sucre and the Otassca company became a member of
our trade association for the purpose of examining ways to convert
his property into a unique, value-driven entity.
The challenges were formidable, given the location of the property
and the marketing effort required to attract the technology-based
firms that were being sought. In addition, Mr. Sucre and his team,
which included myself, had identified and selected a business
concept that was and remains rather unique in Latin
America to this very day. However, despite these obstacles, he
was successful, and the real estate development was named Caracas
Teleport. The development was selected as one of WTAs intelligent
buildings of the year in 2000. Mr. Sucre and his family received
the award at an Intelligent Communities and Building conference
(Smart 2000) in Calgary, Canada.
From a professional perspective, Alexs ability to execute
on a strategy is highly impressive, to say the least. Again, in
the case of our mutual project, it was extremely impressive, not
the least reason being that he had effectively been tossed into
the development as a result of his fathers death shortly
before the property came onto the general real estate market.
At that time, the building appeared to be simply another commoditized
commercial space.
Mr. Sucres skills as a turnaround executive who understands
sound business practice, as well as his ability to develop concepts
and execute on these concepts in a relatively short period of
time, will be an asset to any organization to which he is associated.
His property, Caracas Teleport, remains a highly-respected member
of World Teleport Association.
