Don
Moore has more than 13 years of executive,
financial, investment, legal and operational experience in industries
and with privately held as well as public Fortune 500 companies.
His extensive and broad professional and executive experiences bring
a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary approach to transactions
and management.
The core of his expertise includes strategic and operational planning,
legal, financial and operational analysis, budget development, mergers
and acquisitions, bankruptcy case management, liquidations and plan
confirmations, due diligence and managing third-party professional
service providers. He also has significant international business
and transactional experience.
Moore has served as CEO, CFO, and General Counsel and in other senior
financial positions for several companies. In most instances, he
was responsible for leading the organization or a division through
dramatic growth periods and/or restructurings and reorganizations.
Moore began his career as a corporate securities attorney with Weil,
Gotshal & Manges, in-house counsel at Ryder System, Inc., head
of strategic and financial planning and analysis for Ryder Dedicated
Logistics, Inc. and CEO and CFO of Echobridge, Inc., a healthcare-focused
Internet services firm. In 1996, Moore formed Rebelyon Capital &
Management, Inc. through which he has invested in, raised capital
for and consulting many companies, including several growth and
distressed businesses.
His experiences provided him with significant executive and transactional
experience from multiple professional perspectives. Moore also is
a shareholder of the 75-lawyer, Miami, Florida-based law firm of
Fowler White Burnett, P.A. and serves on the advisory board of North
Bay Equity Partners, LLC, a Miami Beach, Florida-based private equity
firm focused on transportation and logistics investments in the
Americas.
Moore has a J.D. (University of Michigan, 1988, Cum Laude), an M.B.A.
(University of Miami, 1995, Valedictorian) and a B.A. in Political
Science (University of Michigan, 1985, With Distinction). He is
also a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Transportation
Lawyers Association.
