Mr.
Muci has been involved during 13 years in Banking, Capital Market
and Investment Banking Transactions in Venezuela. Besides its cumulated
experience in Corporate Finance Transactions and Corporate Debt
Restructuring, Mr. Muci managed for five years (1994-1998) Grupo
Financorp an investment banking group in Venezuela that included
a small bank. This task included a two years financial workout process
in Financorp, during the 1994-1995 systemic financial crisis in
Venezuela. Mr. Muci has completed several projects for Multilateral
Institutions in South America and Africa.
He is currently completing a hands on consultancy for
World Bank - National Bank of Rwanda (BNR) in the recovery of a
non-performing loan portfolio of a Rwandese bank. He has also completed
financial and investment valuation projects for the Latin American
Regional Multilateral Bank, the Andean Development Corporation (CAF),
in microfinance banking and life an work severance insurance sectors
in Ecuador and Bolivia. These projects have allowed Mr. Muci to
get a good knowledge of the microfinance banking and nonperforming
loans recovery strategies in Rwanda, Venezuela, Ecuador and Bolivia.
Mr. Muci has sound hands on experience in fast and accurate
risk analysis, financial diagnosis and financial projections of
companies or group of companies, even in cases were the financial
information available is not trusty and where the determination
of a trusty initial balance sheet and business margin are the crucial
steps to build financial projections and debt restructuring proposals.
Working understanding of the legal, fiscal and accounting issues
involved in the design of financial services and financial restructuring
or workout processes in some developing countries: Venezuela, Rwanda,
Ecuador and Bolivia. During his career as a Corporate Finance Specialist
in Debt Restructuring transactions and during his four years as
the Executive Vice-President of Grupo Financorp, Mr. Muci teamed
in several projects with lawyers, auditors and fiscal specialists
and has developed a good practical knowledge in these areas.
Extensive financial consultancy and managerial experience with small
and medium enterprises. Education: BA in Mathematics Cum Laude,
Ranked first in class, Universidad Simón Bolívar,
Caracas, Venezuela. Master of Business Administration, with specialization
in Finance, IESA, Caracas, Venezuela. Participated in a one semester
exchange program in the MBA department of the University of North
Carolina in Chapel Hill, USA.
